SUIT NEW MEASUREMENTS



Measure around the chest where it is largest, right across the nipples. Breathe normally. Note that this measurement should be taken with a finger inside the measuring tape.

Chest :

Measure around the stomach, in line with the navel. Breathe normally. Note that this measurement should be taken with a finger inside the measuring tape.

Waist :

Measure around the widest part of the bicep. Let your arm hang down by your side. This measurement should be taken with a finger inside the measuring tape.

Bicep :

Think of a line going from your armpit straight upwards to your shoulder. Measure between those two points and hold the tape measure straight.

Shoulder :

Measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Jacket Hips :
(inch)

From the outermost edge of the shoulder, same point as the shoulder measurement, measure down to the start of the thumb. The arm should hang straight down.

Sleeve Length :

Start at the middle of the shoulder. Starting point is the shoulder seam of your jacket. Measure straight down to the middle of the thumb, or where you want the jacket to end. Breathe normally.

Jacket Length :

It should be taken where you want your trousers to rest and should be taken first, as some measurements use the waist point as a starting point.

Trousers Waist :

The buttock measurement is taken where the buttocks are at their largest. Note that this measurement should be taken with a finger inside the measuring tape.

Trousers Hips :

It should be taken level with the lowest point of the U-measurement. At this point, measure around the thigh. It will be taken with a finger inside the measuring tape.

Trousers Thighs :

Measure from the desired waistline in the front to the desired waistline in the back. If in doubt about the tightness of this measurement, take it while wearing a pair of trousers that fit you.

Trousers Crotch :

This measurement is taken at the bottom of the trousers leg. Note that this measurement should give the circumference of the trouser leg, not your ankle

Trousers Cuffs :

Measure on the outside of the leg. Start at the desired waist level and measure from this point down to where you want the trousers to end. We strongly recommend taking this measurement with shoes on

SUIT FROM CLOTHING MEASUREMENTS


1. Chest :

Lay the jacket flat and buttoned, measure from the left seam to the right seam just below the armhole, then multiply this measurement by 2.

2. Jacket Wist :

Lay the jacket flat and buttoned, measure from the left seam to the right seam at the narrowest part of the waistline, multiply this measurement by 2.

3. Hip :

Lay the jacket flat and buttoned, measure from the left seam to the right seam at the position about 16cm above the bottom edge, multiply this measurement by 2.

4. Front Length :

Lay the jacket flat, measure from the yoke (where the shoulder plate meets the collar) straight down to the bottom edge.

5. Back Length :

Lay the jacket flat, measure from the middle of the back collar seam straight down to the bottom edge.

6. Shoulder :

Wear the jacket, measure across the top of the shoulder between the arm seams. Make sure to take the curved contour and pass the point about 1cm straight below the center of the back collar.

7. Bicep :

Measure the width of the sleeve at the upper arm position, multiply this measurement by 2.

8. Sleeve Length Right :

Make sure to lay the sleeve flat, measure from shoulder-sleeve joint to the end of the cuff.
